Penn State Squawks

Penn State fans and alum, roar like a Nittany Lion. Let your voice be heard here on anything PSU!

Hindsight is 20-20

It's easy to say in hindsight what we would have done that fateful 2002 night at Lasch Hall. Me? I woulda pulled Sandusky offa the kid, told Joe Paterno, who shoulda went 2 Graham Spanier n said "look if u don't call the cops, I will." I think JoePa knows that now. Tim Curley n Gary Schultz are scum 4 keeping quiet all these yrs n deserve whatever they get. How bout Curley taking adm. leave? Yeah, like Penn State is gonna have u back when all the dust settles. You'll be lucky you don't serve jail time Timmy. Had you called police, the university wouldn't have half the stain that it has right now!

The cover of the Daily News (the Nittany Lion with a tear in his eye) made me cry. Kinda sums it up, for me, anyway.

About Me

My Photo
Name: Steve Sherman
Location: Newtown, PA, United States

I'm a Temple U grad who got my start in this biz in 2000 as a game-day writer for the Philadelphia Eagles. Good for me as I bleed Iggles' green to begin with. Some of the highlights of my season with the birds was interviewing Randall when he came back to the Vet as the Dallas Cowboys quarterback. To this day, Randall lists that day among his greatest moments in the NFL as the Philly fans cheered wildly for him, even though Cunningham had joined hands with the hated and despised Cowboys. The Iggles, who had started the season at 3-3, defeated the Cowpokes, 16-13, that day and won 7 of their last 9 games to earn their first trip to the postseason in years. Another season highlight was spending the eve of the new millennium covering Philly's 21-3 win over Tampa Bay in the opening round of the NFC playoffs.
